- Licenses & Fees: Animal Licenses

All cats, dogs and pot-bellied pigs are required to be licensed annually. Licenses go on sale January 2nd of each year and become delinquent February 1st. A current rabies vaccination certificate is required.

License Fees:
Dogs and Cats:
$4.00 per year if animal is neutered or spayed
$8.00 per year for non-spayed or non-neutered
A $2.00 penalty per animal applies if license is not renewed prior to February 1st.

Pot-Bellied Pigs:
First license is $100.00 and requires:
An on site inspection made by Animal Control
Proof of equivalent rabies vaccination
Proof of ownership
Verification of State requirements of "point of origin"
Certification as to "miniature potbelly pig"
Health certificate
Permission from legal owner of property to house the pig
Renewal licenses are $50.00 per year.
