Liquor Licenses:

Applications for liquor licenses can be obtained here or picked up at the Utility Office.

Liquor License Application

Liquor license fees range from $150.00 to $1,500.00 per year depending upon the class of license. Each class of license has specific requirements. Please call the Utility Office for further information regarding availability. All annual fees along with a $100.00 per person investigation fee must be paid when submitting the application. Corporations pay an additional $100.00.
Processing time is generally 4 weeks. Interim permits are not available.
All liquor license applicants must provide the following:
Completed application with attachments.
Current financial statement.
Copy of building permit from Boulder City if new building or conversion of premises is contemplated.
Copy of lease, evidence of ownership, bill of sale or escrow instructions.
Copy of or evidence of application for Boulder City Business License.
Copy of partnership agreement (if applicable) or copy of articles of incorporation (if applicable).
The resident manager of the establishment, if other than the applicant, must also pass a background investigation.

Special Event Liquor Licenses:
These are issued for a period of not more than 1 week and generally involve non-profit or club sponsored community activities. Processing time is 1 to 3 weeks. Fees range from $15.00 to $25.00 per day.
